meet the senior with worldly dreams

I met Layla through her mother at a previous job and was more than happy to capture her senior portraits during this new and exciting time! She is a senior at Huntington North here in Indiana and set to graduate this year. We had fun strolling around the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, which is arguably one of the most popular places to shoot sessions in Fort Wayne. If it fits your personality, though, I say do it! The conservatory is, personally, one of my favorite spots; probably because I love everything floral! Layla even spotted a gorgeous lemon tree that resulted in my favorite image from her entire gallery!

I was able to learn more about Layla and what her plans are after she graduates. Luckily, she has already been accepted (yay!!) and plans to attend Purdue University here in Fort Wayne and experience a bit of this adult life on her own with a close friend! Her dream is to teach English to students in Japan; and all I can say is, that I'm jealous! Not only will Layla travel abroad, but she'll meet many interesting and exciting kids and people and submerse herself in different cultures. I wish the best of luck to Layla, furthering her education and dreaming so big! People with such big personalities and aspirations will be our future and I can't wait to see what's in store!
